COVID-19 POLICY

March 13th, 2020 by North Park Theatre

UPDATE AS OF 11/19:

In an abundance of caution, and in the interest of public safety, we will be suspending all regular shows starting Friday, November 20th.

NYS does not include movie theaters in its list of high-risk businesses, and, to-date, no COVID cases have been traced to cinemas.

However, we want to do whatever we can to minimize exposure and risk.

Erie County’s infection rate keeps climbing, and that should worry everyone.

We will reassess our status sometime next week.

Thank you, and be safe!

For your safety, and in strict accordance with NYS’s social distancing guidelines, we have made some changes in how we operate.

Please note the following:

Face masks must be worn in the theater at all times, except when guests are eating and drinking. Employees must wear masks as well.

Enhanced air filters have been added to our ventilation system.

All seats will be assigned at the box office in order to maximize social distancing.

A limit of 50 tickets can be sold per show. The North Park can seat over 800 guests, so at a 50 seat limit, guests will be comfortably isolated.

For more details, please consult cinemasafe.org, a national program created by the National Association of Theater Owners that we strongly endorse.

These are difficult times, and we are relying on your cooperation to make this work. To date, no COVID-19 cases have been traced back to theaters, and we’d like to keep it that way.

Thank you!
